Alumni News

Our website and newsletter feature news from KU graduates who have studied Germanic Languages & Literatures and gone on to interesting and successful lives and careers. This page aims in part to help prospective and current KU students understand how language study can change one's life for the better by opening new experiences and opportunities. We believe (and we hope you agree) that the study of a language and culture other than one's own is part of what is contributing to your success.

The biographical information and any accompanying photographs that you provide to the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures may be released into the public domain via printed or electronic publication, including on the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures website(s) and its newsletter, KUrier. For this reason we suggest that you do not include information of a personal nature or any information that you do no wish to be published. The Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures will not publish or release your contact information unless you expressly request that we do so. You also understand and acknowledge that the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures will not return the photographs or biographical information unless you expressly request their return.

You may submit updates as often as you wish. If possible, please attach an accompanying photograph. Thank you for completing this form.
