Engel Scholarships

Recipients will receive $5,000 to study abroad for one or two semesters.

German Studies Undergraduate Research Awards (UGRAs)

$1,000 scholarships will be provided to undergraduate students pursuing original research, scholarship, or creative work in German Studies under the general guidance of a KU faculty member or another approved mentor.

Summer Language Institute Scholarships

The German department offers financial support for German Studies majors and minors participating in our Eutin or Holzkirchen program. The amount varies from year-to-year, but it is generally $500-$1,000.
